Olimme lauantaina vuotuisissa isoissa kesäjuhlissa Espoossa, juhlat alkoivat auringonpaisteessa, välillä oli kaatosadetta ja ukkosta ja lopuksi taas poutasää. Kastumiselta onneksi vältyttiin kahden ison teltan ansiosta.
We were in a big garden party on Saturday. The party started with sunshine, continued with pouring rain and thunder and later with cleas skies again. Although it rained heavily, we didn't get wet thanks to two big canopies.
Tällä kertaa juhlittiin isännän tasavuosia, lahjaksi hän sai meiltä ja Siipan sukulaisilta puolikkaan lampaan, innokas kokki ja Paistinkääntäjien jäsen kun on. Lammas toimitetaan saajalleen myöhemmin, nyt hän sai minttua, valkosipulia ja lampaalle sopivaa punaviinia.
This time we celebrated our host's round years, as gift from us and husband's family he received a half mutton as he is a talented chef and member of the Rotisseurs. The meat he will get later, we gave him now mint, garlic and a good bottle of red wine.

Standard for summer parties is high now when we are used to parties where a Rotisseur cooks lovely meals (salad, focaccia, smoked salmon, ribs, rhubarb compot and cake for seventy people) and music is preformed by the best jazz musicians in Finland...
