Fresh figs

Figs are imported and usually very expensive in Finland, even when in season. Few days ago I found Turkish fresh figs for 2,95 EUR/kg and bought two kilos.

Now we have had figs in many forms for the past days; fresh figs with French cheeses and sausages, lamb fillet with truffle oil potatoes (oil was bought in Paris) , creamed spinach & lamb with fig salad and fig pie.

I have three plump figs left, will stuff a whole chicken with figs, plums and sage.
