Summer party season is on!
Last weekend we attended a name giving party (a bit like baptism, but without minister). Great food, higly talented musicians and singers, friends, beautiful home and a happy little family! And like in all good parties, the best conversations were in the kitchen, where half of the people packed in one point!
Today we will attend another party; a highschool graduation party.
Kesän juhlasesonki on käynnistynyt!
Viime viikonloppuna olimme nimenantojuhlissa (hieman kuin ristiäiset, mutta ilman pappia, Suvivirsi kuitenkin laulettiin yhdessä ammattilaulajien johdolla). Ihanaa ruokaa, huippulahjakkaita muusikkoja ja laulajia esiintymässä, ystäviä, kaunis koti ja onnellinen pikku perhe. Ja kuten kaikissa hyvissä juhlissa; parbaat bileet ovat keittiössä, johon puolet väestä ahtautui juttelemaan jossain vaiheessa!
Tänään onkin sitten vuorossa lakkiaiset.
I smiled when you mentioned how people congregate in kitchens. What is it that makes us so fond of this room of a home?! :)
