Crayfish red

A taxi will pick us up later in the afternoon, we will go to a marina, where a fishing boat will pick us up. After a short boatride we will arrive at my employer's villa, where we will have our fifth annual crayfish party. Spouses are also invited and the party reminds more of an informal, fun family party than a company gathering.

Dress code is vary casual, only requirement is "something red". I will have a striped shirt, red and wite ballerina flats and a red necklace with jeand. A red pashmina will warm me up later in the evening. Husband took the dress code more seriosly; he bought a red coat.

Taksi tulee hakemaan myöhemmin iltapäivällä, ajamme Espoon puolelle venesatamaan, josta kalastusalus tulee noutamaan meitä. Lyhyen venematkan päässä odottaa työnantajani kesämökki, jossa pidämme jo viidennet perinteiset rapujuhlat. Puolisot on myös kutsuttu mukaan, juhla muistuttaakin enemmän hauskaa perhejuhlaa kuin virallista yrityksen juhlintaa.

Pukeudumme rennosti, ainoa toivomus on "jotain punaista", itse laitan raitapaidan, punavalkoiset ballerinat ja punaisen kaulakorun farkkujen kanssa, punainen pashmina lämmittää mukavasti illan viiletessä. Siippa suhtautui pukukoodiin astetta vakavammin, hän osti eilen punaisen Sebagon takin.
