There is an old apple three by the woods behind our apartment building in Lauttasaari, it's very convinient to go there to pick apples for pies and desserts.
My basic apple crumble for two
apples five or six
flour 1 dl
rolled oats 0,5 dl
crushed nuts or almonds 0,2 dl
magarine or butter 50 g
brown sugar 1 dl
cinnamon 1 tsp
Heat the oven to 200 C, slice the apples. Mix all other ingredients except cinnamon in food processopr or by mixer. Place apple slices in oven proof individual dishes, sprinkle cinnamon and the crumbs over the apples. Bake in oven for 40 min.
am getting envious .... lovely apples ... the recipe sounds good, should try .. though not like u with apples fresh from garden .. but with those store bought ones...
