I have retired to country side to celebrate midsummer. I leave you with this pheasant for few days.
In 70's when I grew up, there were herds of pheasants in the outkirts of Helsinki, where I lived. They they disappeared for year. In the past years I have again seen these pretty (but rather stupid) birds to increase in my neighborhood.
Olen vetäytynyt maalle juhannuksen viettoon ja jätän teidät pariksi päiväksi tämän fasaanin kanssa.
70-luvulla fasaaneja oli suorastaan kiusaksi asti Helsingin reunamilla, jossa asuin lapsuuteni. Sitten fasaanit katosvat, enkä nähnyt niitä vuosiin. Viime vuosina näitä kauniita (mutta melko tyhmiä) lintuja on taas ruvennut näkymään.
