Tämä jäätelö on makeaa, joten siitä riittää hyvin pieniin annoksiin neljälle. Tein jäätelöä appivanhempien luona, siellä on mukava kaivella loputtomista varastoista kauniita vanhoja astioita ja kuvata annokset kauniisti ikääntyneellä puupenkillä. Tulee taas vähän erilaisia kuvia kuin kotona, jossa en voi kaappitilojen täyttyessä jatkuvasti kasvattaa astiavarastoa.

1 purkki sokeroitua kondensoitua maitoa
1 prk (125 gr) ranskankermaa
3 limen mehu
2 limen kuori
Kaada blenderiin kondensoitu maito ja ranskankerma. Purista sekaan limemehu
Pese limen kuoret ja raasta blenderiin. Surraa blenderissä hetki, tarkista maku
Kaada pakastimenkestävään rasiaan ja pakasta yön yli.
I love citrus fruits. When I saw this recipe in a Finnish blog 52 weeks of deliciouness, I had to give it a try. She had found it in Kirbie cravings blog where the recipe had been adapted from Lady and the pups blog.
I made this easy ice cream with lime, originally it was made with lemons. My mother in law has a big stock of vintage china. It's a refreshing change to use her dishes for the photos as I cannot keep on buying new dishes. All my cupboards are already full.
Lime ice cream (for four)
1 1/8 cup full fat sweetened condensed milk
1 1/2 cup full fat sour cream
Juice of 3 limes
Finely grated skin of 2 limes (green part only)

Add all ingredients into a blender. Blend on high speed until lime is fully dissolved (about 30 seconds).
Pour into container (metal loaf pans works well). Thump bottom of container against the counter a few times to let the ice cream settle and smooth out. You can also use a spatula to help smooth it out. Freeze overnight.
